How to install Toad for SAP Solutions

Hello, my name is Robert Pound and I'm a product technologist for Quest. This video covers the download and installation of Toad for SAP Solutions. So you'll first want to navigate to www.toadworkd.com and select the Downloads tab. From here, we have all the products available from Toad World. And if I select SAP, we can see everything available for that platform. But what we're interested in is Tool for SAP Solutions. So I'll go ahead and select it. And we're presented with a list of everything available in the free trial, as well as the limited freeware version. If we come to the bottom, we can actually go to the product page itself, and that will give us more information about the product. But I'm going to go ahead and choose get free trial. You will be asked for some information and to accept the license. I have already logged in, so I don't need to fill out this information. But I will simply click Download trial. From here, we have the ability to not only download the latest version, we can also look at release notes, we can view next steps on how to purchase the product. But I'm going to go ahead and download the web installer. And once it's downloaded, we'll go ahead and execute and I will accept the EULA and choose the trial version of the license. And from here, we have the ability to not only select which products we want to install with it-- so the free trial version comes with multiple different products. Benchmark Factory, SQL Optimizer, Spotlight, Code Data Modeler. So these are all products that come packaged with Toad for SAP Solutions. So you can choose to install any or all of them and check them out at your leisure. And you also have the ability to choose the destination folder, obviously, of the installation. And from here, we'll go ahead and click Install. And we get a little bit more information about Toad and Toad World once it's complete. So I'm gonna go ahead and click Finish. And now we have the ability to start the Toad for SAP Solutions executable. And that was a simple walk-through the installation of Toad for SAP Solutions.
