Hello, and thank you for your interest in trying Quadrotech Nova for Office 365 reporting. In this video, we're going to walk through the self-service setup of Quadrotech Nova. And to do that, we're going to go to quadrotech-it.com, and at the top of the page, click the link that says Try Nova.
On the next page, we're going to check the box, and we're going to click the orange button here to sign in with our Microsoft account. And on the next step, we're going to need to enter the email address of our account that has global admin permissions. The global admin positions are temporary, and are required for getting the backend tenant set up withing Nova.
So I'll put in the password. We're going to review the submissions, and then select the option to consent on behalf of the organization. On the following page, we're going to check the box and click Continue. We're now going to put in our information. When that's done, we can go ahead and initiate the free trial.
So we're going to select that we've read the license agreement and click Start the Free Trial. After a few moments, we're going to be redirected to the reporting setup wizard, and on this page, we're going to enter in the name of the tenant. And then we're going to again use the global administrator account. You can then review the permissions that are required for the reporting module and click Accept.
Once the tenant's been connected, we're going to add our service account. So this account just needs to have global reader permissions. I'm going to use the same account that we've been using to this point before the demonstration, but the only requirements for this account are going to be global reader. [? So I'll ?] enter that account in and click Confirm.
OK, so we've successfully added the service account. On the next screen, we're going to provision our data collection. So you select your region from the dropdown, click Provision, and this will set up the database. We now have successfully set up reporting. We can close this out and open up Nova by following the link here at the bottom. It takes a few hours for the initial data collection to complete, and at that point, you'll be able to log in to Nova and view your reports.
