Welcome to another on-demand video demonstration. In this video, we'll be going over migrating a group and the process behind that. Here we can see we have a test users group that consists of two members just as an example. We're going to migrate it from the source tenant to the target tenant.
After selecting the object by checking the check box, if there is a group, you want to match it to you would select matching, and these are the attributes that it matches by, and then you finish the matching task. We'll just fast forward until that completes.
Next, we'll actually migrate the group object. You select the target domain name, name the task, and confirm that target tenant is correct. Click the few details button, and it's initialising at the moment. While that task is running, we'll confirm the source group and its membership.
Here we can see there are two members in this source group. Now we can see the migration task has completed for that group, and if we check the target Office 365 tenant, we'll just log in here a quick, we can see that the group object was migrated, and the membership is intact. We are indeed logged into the target tenant here as shown. This concludes this video demonstration.
