My name is Daniel Stevenson, I'm from the University of Florida State. My title is IT Support Specialist in Tallahassee, Florida. I am the help desk supervisor, and I am responsible for the SMA and SDA. I manage roughly about 400 devices and over 900 users for the facilities department, that consist of design and construction, our grounds department, building services. We have quite a few departments.
I think it's a great time to-- folks that I met last year that are here this year, we were able to catch up. It's great also to connect to the case team, Ron. I've known Ron for quite a while, Verle. And it's great again for networking. What are these guys doing, what can they help me do, giving tutorials things of that nature. There are long list of resources for the SMA and SDA.
I would not be able to do my job without the SMA and SDA in my environment. They are an exceptional tools for imaging, software distribution, patching is the big one. That is just made my life incredibly easy. Back years ago I was running around, they use this term a lot with a chicken with its head cut off. Those days are long gone, i no longer have to do that.
I can sit at my desk and focus primarily on my users and their devices. I have tested other products in the past and the SMA and SDA are the only product for me and my environment. The reason why I would recommend someone to come back is it's great to have that refresher, we cannot retain everything in one conference. You just can't, it's impossible. It's a great experience to key in things that I forgot from last year that I got out of this year, and I'll definitely be back again next year.
