Toad DevOps Toolkit works in conjunction with automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo and Team Foundation Server to include database development and deployment steps as part of your existing CI/CD processes:
- PL/SQL testing — Run unit tests for all PL/SQL code in the build and review pass/fail status to ensure functional correctness and deploy code updates more quickly.
- Static code reviews — Perform static code reviews based on a pre-defined set of rules to improve code quality and maintainability. Review the pass/fail of quality level based in the build based on pre-defined thresholds.
- Database, schema and data compare — Compare configurations, schema objects and table data between source and target databases (such as dev and test) and generate sync scripts.
- Script execution — Promote build artifacts into the target environment as part of your continuous delivery (CD) process.
