Don’t Let Ransomware Hold Your Data Hostage

I often talk to customers on the phone. New customers, existing customers, everyone is worried about ransomware virus and getting hit by it, and then getting all their files encrypted. On the screen here, we have three simple steps to try and mitigate that. Step number one, stop those emails actually coming into your environment completely, so before they actually hit the mailbox of the user. Step number two, make sure that your users only have access to exactly what they need. So limit administration access, general privilege. And step number three, backup, backup. And make sure you can actually recover the files. In each of the three steps, we have a number of products that can help you with. So for instance, email security. A bunch of reporting tools and auditing tools to make sure that you restrict your access, and a really good rapid recovery backup tool that can help you recover your data if you do actually get hit.
